Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and possesses excellent organizational/communication skills. This position reports to the Senior HR Business Partner and offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization through effective HR coordination.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$90,000. Our salary is to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, locations and other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for equity and benefits.
This is a full-time hybrid position and requires candidates to work from Fiverr's office 3 times a week.
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?
- Manage HR-related documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, amendment letters, offboarding paperwork, and HR policies. Ensure consistent application and adherence to these policies.
- Assist in the new hire onboarding processes, including preparing onboarding materials, inputting new hire information into the HRIS systems, reviewing I-9 documentation, and facilitating orientation programs for new hires.
- Schedule regular check-ins with employees to gather insights on their experience and understand feedback.
- Collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure timely submission of timesheets, processing employee deductions and payments, and ensuring efficient and accurate processing of payroll records.
- Manage the leave of absence process by complying with state-specific LOA regulations, overseeing the interactive process, calculating disability payments, and coordinating with Payroll to ensure accurate pay.
- Support the benefits administration process, including enrollment, changes, and terminations. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits.
- Support employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews, collecting company property, and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Help organize and oversee employee events, recognition programs, new hire SWAG, and wellness activities to promote a positive work culture.
- Spearhead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts by working closely with our Employee Resource Groups and Wellbeing team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters and provide information or escalate issues as needed.
- Stay updated on Federal, State, and local labor laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure HR compliance and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as assigned by the Senior HR Business Partner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
- 2-4 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (experience working with a PEO is a plus)
- A high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a constantly evolving work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service orientation
