Description:
-
Identification and verification of customer due diligence (“CDD”) requirements in accordance to regulatory requirements and Group and local policy and procedures;
-
Liaising with the Front Office to obtain from the customer the required information/documentation to satisfy CDD requirements;
-
Accurately recording the customer’s CDD information onto the KYC Application;
-
Researching, reviewing, collecting and evidencing with supporting documentation the level of due diligence required;
-
Conducting the required customer screening using Regulatory DataCorp (“RDC”) and World-Check One;
-
Responsible for documenting regulatory rationale for customer screening alerts and where required escalate material news, Political Exposed Person (“PEP”) and sanction concerns to Compliance for further review and assessment;

Liaising with the Front Office to complete the required risk assessment forms where associated risks are identified;
-
On-going review and maintenance of the risk assessment forms;

Knowledge of when to escalate issues to Compliance for review and approval;
-
Understanding of AML risks to provide rationales where risks identified;
-
Managing case load and communicating clearly and directly with the business, Compliance and Line Manager when necessary;

Attending KYC status meetings and providing status updates, as required;

Developing strong working relationships with team members, Front Office, Compliance and Operations.

Tracking of missing or requested information and or extension requests;
-
Completing all regulatory training as required by the job to a satisfactory level;

On-going knowledge of the Anti-Money Laundering regulations and Group and local standards;

Knowing, understanding, and complying with all Lloyds Banking Group and jurisdictional rules and regulations that apply to his/her job after proper training.

Reporting to their Line Manager any non-compliance with Lloyds Banking Group or governmental rules or regulations that may come to the employee's attention in the course of his/her employment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Education and Experience Required:
• 1 to 3 years of BSA/AML experience (financial industry experience preferred)
• Understanding of KYC requirements within a Bank
• Ability to identify suspicious, sanctions, PEP and other AML/financial crimes risks
• General knowledge of FATCA regulatory requirements
Key skills and knowledge required:
• General knowledge of AML regulatory requirements specifically Customer Information Program (“CIP”) / Customer Due Diligence (“CDD”) / Enhanced Due Diligence (“EDD”) requirements
• General knowledge of FATCA regulatory requirements specifically CIP/CDD/EDD requirements
• Dedicated team player with strong collaborative skills
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-activeness
• Exhibit the ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Ability to orchestrate multiple tasks with varying procedures on a daily basis
