We are seeking a passionate Head of Marketing to build and oversee daily restaurant marketing operations across all units under the Unapologetic Foods brand. The ideal candidate will drive the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Marketing Function Management & Brand Development:
- Build and manage marketing strategies that drive business revenue and brand presence for both the corporate group and restaurant concepts under the Unapologetic Foods umbrella in line with company goals
- Develop and maintain brand playbooks
- Mentor restaurant managers and staff to uphold the highest levels of brand compliance, content generation and external communications
- Lead external partnership initiatives
- Organize and upkeep brand assets folders (photos, templates etc.)
Field Campaign Strategy:
- Partner with Operations teams to build and launch marketing strategies, events, restaurant promotions and social media campaigns that increase restaurant visibility and sales
- Create field campaign and promotion launch guidelines
- Research restaurant trends to incorporate when pitching campaigns, and promotions
- Keep record of campaign/promotion results including ROI, profits etc.
Social Media Management:
- Manage social media pages, outlets and digital presence
- Create monthly calendar line up of campaigns, call to action and content with proposed geography, ad budgets, and expected ROI/Results
- Maintain knowledge of current and new social media trends to incorporate in posting as applicable
Ongoing Content Development:
- Conduct monthly unit trainings/learning bytes on best practices for content generating
- Create and foster unit social media communication streams that ensure necessary insights including:
- Daily Posts
- Upcoming Promotions
- Execution of Brand Promotion Requirements
Job Requirements
- A minimum 3 years of current, marketing management experience in fine dining, full service, hospitality, or similar environment
- Experience and knowledge in Brand strategy, guest communication, promotion, digital marketing, advertisement and social media
- Experience with Michelin-starred restaurants, James Beard Award-winning establishments, or equivalent high-caliber dining experiences
- Ability to establish goals, and convert plans into action
- Must be professional and well-spoken with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills
- Strong knowledge of restaurant industry trends, marketing strategies, food and beverage social media best practices
- Proven experience in management role
- Forward thinking with excellent organizational insight and business acumen
- Proficient in using POS, Google Suites, Excel, marketing systems and other management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail
