Media Manager
The Media Manager supports the Director of Media Marketing on all North American media initiatives to drive strong brand positioning and support both global and local regional strategies. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of media experience and have a high-level of expertise in media planning/execution, campaign monitoring & financial tracking. This individual should be highly organized, able to take on multiple tasks at a time and be a strong communicator or both internal and external partners on a regular basis.
Responsibilities include:
Media Planning:
- Support Director, in collaboration with Media Agency, on development of media plans for key brand campaigns
- Collaborate with VP of Marketing & Director on media plan feedback and optimizations to deliver to media agencies
- Proactively evaluate competitive landscape and bring insights to help inform media plans across both traditional and digital channels
- Bring high impact and out of the box thinking to the table to ensure brand stands out from competitive landscape
Digital & Performance Media:
- Assist Director in creating holistic full year SEM and remarketing (Display & Social) strategies that align to key business objectives
- Be main point of contact for all performance media related initiatives liaising with SEM and Media agencies to ensure plans are in line to brief and guidelines
- Work with HQ on best practices for performance channels and optimize plans/tactics on a continual basis
- In collaboration with HQ, guide SEM keyword strategy throughout year, optimizing during key consumption periods
- Partner with Bvlgari Omnichannel team to align with priority moments for both performance media and e-commerce business
Lease Required Advertising (LRA) Planning:
- Spearhead full year media plans for all Lease Required Advertising accounts across North America
- Ensure advertising budgets are updated on a regular basis in partnership with Bulgari finance team
- Create proof of media for all LRA accounts on an on-going basis to ensure all media is tracked and brand is spending in full to required amount
Wholesale/COOP Media:
- Lead media planning process with Wholesale/COOP partners
- Develop full year media budget by retailers based on projected sales
- Work with retailers and agency on holistic media plans (quarterly basis)
- Be main point of contact for retailers, as well as Wholesale media agency
Measurement/Reporting:
- Work on a regular basis with media agencies in reviewing pacing reports to ensure that optimizations are enacted on in a swift manner
- Work with agency partners in delivering feedback across all measurement documents prior to sharing internally
- Derive key learnings, optimizations and future implications for all brand campaigns to better inform future campaigns/media initiatives
Creative:
- Manage creative assets across paid channels in collaboration with HQ and creative agency
- Work with agency partners to ensure all asset requests are ordered and delivered in timely manner
- Update asset mapping on regular basis across all media channels
Financials:
- Oversee financial tracking on regular basis in partnership with media agencies to ensure all budgetary documents are updated in a timely manner
- Work in lockstep with Bvlgari internal finance department to ensure budgets and billing management are accurately tracked
Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years of media experience within media role and/or media agency
- Experience with media buying across various platforms
- Media agency background preferred (but not required)
- Strong understanding and experience in developing campaign measurement frameworks to drive successful campaigns against key KPIs
- Mastery of Google Analytics platform and tracking data/performance on a regular basis
- Strong communications and presentation skills. Must feel comfortable leading internal and external meetings/presentations on a regular basis
- Preferred (but not mandatory) experience with a luxury brand – i.e. Fashion, Jewelry, Beauty categories
- Exceptional understanding of the media landscape, specifically within Search, Remarketing and Digital
- BA/BS Marketing, Communications or related
