About ArtsClub:
ArtsClub brings people together to learn about, discuss and create artwork. Our events are designed to harness the power of art to inspire new ideas, conversations and connections. No experience is necessary to enjoy ArtsClub events — only a desire to express yourself and get to know others through the process of discussing and creating artwork.
ArtsClub has studios in New York and Washington DC and hosts hundreds of events each year. ArtsClub has hosted private events for a wide range of groups including Chanel, Levi's, LinkedIn, The New York Times, Google, Tinder, Expedia, Meta, and The World Bank -- as well as many student and alumni groups including those at Yale, Harvard, Howard, Columbia and NYU. On weekends, ArtsClub hosts recreational art lessons, which are open to the public.
Description of Role:
In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to join the managing team of a small, but quickly growing company. You’ll be in charge of behind-the-scenes work that enables our events to run smoothly and our business to grow.
Responsibilities include:
•Event planning and execution
•Social media marketing
•Website and calendar management
•Staff coordination
•Inventory management
•Client communication
•Studio management and upkeep
Hours: Mon-Fri, ~40 hours/ week. Meets in person at 311 East 3rd Street, Tue-Fri, Remotely on Mondays. Requires frequent work on weekday evenings and occasional weekends.
Qualifications:
•Knowledge of and interest in art
•The ability to solve problems and work independently
•Strong organizational skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Experience in event planning and execution
•Hard working, positive attitude
•A dedicated team player that is willing to take on any task, however big or small
Assistant/ Manager title is dependent on experience.
