- Bachelor’s degree in art history, art administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4-6 years of previous executive assistant experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a gallery, auction house, foundation, museum, or other art related setting
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and management skills, and the ability to multi-task, are a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of Apple products
- Experience with Artbase and/or Filemaker preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the Principal’s calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, social appointments, and travel
- Manage all Principal’s correspondences, emails (including drafting on his behalf), phone calls, etc.
- Support Principal with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
- Compile and prepare materials and packets for meetings, appointments, and travel
- Liaise with Gallery Directors
- Coordinate with Gallery Assistants
