What You'll Do In This Role• Lead and manage Regional Sales Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, Internal Wholesalers and Hybrids to support sales of Personal Producing General Agent (PPGA) and channel.
• Lead and provide strategic direction for Life product distribution. Create effective sales approaches in partnership with Marketing.
• Act as liaison between customers and assigned channel.
• Manage and attain Life division sales goals; contribute to the achievement of production goals by developing, delivering and maintaining effective sales and marketing initiatives, recommending new initiatives to organizational leadership and implementing approved initiatives.
• Manage sales incentive compensation for appropriate individuals based on channel.
• Provide input for strategic initiatives and projects related to Sales, Marketing, and Distribution groups.
• Provide input in the strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
• Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
• Work in a collaborative manner to maintain alignment with the internal managers and the Internal Wholesalers who report to them.
• Work with distribution leaders within the Life division, Sammons Institutional Group and Sammons Independent Annuity Group to support overall Company growth, leveraging investments, expenses and opportunities.
• Evaluate and advise division leader on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs, strategies and regulatory action.
• Provide input into the enhancement and/or development, implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization.
• Communicate company information to Sammons Financial Group Companies’ employee population in a positive fashion; including but not limited to frequent business updates, annual shareholder meetings, culture counsel events, new hire events and community impact events.
• Evaluate the success of the organization and provide feedback to the division leader on areas to promote growth.
• Lead, guide, direct and evaluate the work of direct reports.
• Manage the Regional Vice President’s budget and stay within budget parameters.
• Balance all business decisions weighing the cost benefits of each to ensure that cost effective solutions are reached.
• Create and maintain an environment which embraces the corporate shared values, Sammons Leadership Series (SLS) principles, Sammons First and emphasizes culture.
• Maintain awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, share opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards with other members of the executive leadership team.

What We're Looking For- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Minimum 10 years' sales management experience in a leadership role for a large division or company Required
- Insurance and/or Financial Services leadership experience Required
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution
- Ability to formulate policies and develop and implement new strategies and procedures
- Must embrace and effectively shadow the corporate shared values
- Effective leadership, management, decision-making and motivational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-company/multi-site environment
- Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Knowledge of public relations principles and practices

Salary Range InformationUSD $199,015.00 - USD $369,600.00 /Yr.
