Our client, an innovative, immersive art experience that transforms traditional art exhibits into multi-sensory journeys, is seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to lead their marketing efforts and drive the brand to the next level.
As the Marketing Director you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate the brand, attract widely diverse audiences, and drive ticket revenue and sales. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our messaging is cohesive and impactful to the target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy that aligns with the brand vision and business goals.
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and experiential marketing in order to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Work closely with external partners to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively, leveraging agency expertise to drive results.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility and create new revenue streams.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and adjust tactics as needed.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee the marketing budget ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on integrated marketing strategies.
- Prior experience working at a marketing agency is preferred.
- Proven track record of securing and managing partnerships and sponsorships that drive brand growth and revenue, ideally with a pre-existing network that can be utilized.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a knack for innovative marketing ideas that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing newer talent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with the New York City market and its cultural landscape is a plus.
