As an Entry-Level HR Assistant specializing in recruiting support, you will play a pivotal role in our talent acquisition process, assisting with various administrative tasks and supporting our recruitment efforts. Responsibilities
- Assist with Job Postings: Support the recruitment team in posting job openings on various platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling job descriptions.
- Resume Screening: Review incoming resumes and applications, identifying qualified candidates for further consideration by the recruitment team.
- Candidate Communication: Communicate with job applicants regarding application status, interview schedules, and necessary documentation, providing a positive candidate experience.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews and assessments, liaising with candidates and interviewers to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate information, interview notes, and recruitment-related documents in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Immigration Support: Assist in the preparation and submission of visa applications, including H1B, OPT, and CPT sponsorships, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
- Onboarding Assistance: Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including completion of paperwork and orientation activities.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Input and update employee data in HR systems, generate reports, and provide administrative support as needed.
- Compliance Monitoring: Assist with compliance activities related to recruitment and immigration, including I-9 verification and E-Verify processes.
- General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department, such as filing, copying, and organizing documents, as well as responding to inquiries from employees and external parties.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS or ATS platforms is a plus.
Understanding of basic HR principles and practices.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
