About Us: We are currently seeking a seasoned Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) with a robust background in spearheading SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector. This pivotal role involves overseeing our IT operations, driving the successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA, and ensuring seamless alignment between our technological infrastructure and business imperatives.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the IT department, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices conducive to the pharmaceutical industry's requirements.
SAP S/4HANA Implementation
- Lead the comprehensive deployment of SAP S/4HANA, encompassing planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP S/4HANA with existing systems and workflows.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
IT Operations And Management
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, guaranteeing the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems and assets.
- Effectively manage IT budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to optimize service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and industry norms, with a focus on pharmaceutical sector requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with executive leadership, business units, and external stakeholders to comprehend and address technology-related needs and challenges.
- Communicate IT strategies, initiatives, and project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and facilitate training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven track record as a CIO or in a similar executive capacity within the pharmaceutical or related sectors.
- Extensive experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementations, with a deep understanding of the system's functionalities and best practices.
- Proficient knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations, compliance standards, and validation processes.
- Demonstrated capability in managing large-scale IT projects, encompassing budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels.
- Strategic mindset coupled with robust problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for driving innovation and change.
Preferred
- Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA or relevant modules.
- Familiarity with GxP, FDA, and other regulatory mandates specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
