Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper/Property Manager for our Real Estate division in NYC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in real estate management, preferably in commercial and multi-family properties. This role will involve a blend of bookkeeping responsibilities and property management tasks, requiring excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Coordinate with suppliers, brokers, and tenants to ensure smooth operations of our properties.
- Oversee small renovation projects, from planning to execution, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Market vacant spaces effectively to attract potential tenants, including negotiating lease terms.
- Review and evaluate potential tenants' financials to assess their suitability.
- Ensure compliance with city regulations and codes for all properties under management.
- Utilize proficiency in CRM systems for real estate management to streamline operations and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate management, with a focus on multi-family properties.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
