ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Social Media Coordinator position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and able to navigate the fast-paced world of social media. Working directly with our social media team and upper management, the Social Media Coordinator will quickly define, track, and meet goals and aid in important social media tactics decisions.
The position revolves around content creation and collaboration. Daily duties will include calendar creation, social media strategy, analytics reporting, and creative campaign/content development. Candidates should have at least 2 years of professional experience in social media in the luxury or lifestyle verticals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating, sourcing, and managing content for several client social media channels, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- The amount of content per week varies but candidates should be prepared to create up to 36 posts per week across several clients
- Lead community management, scheduling, and engagement on social platforms, with a strong emphasis on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for multiple clients and engage with followers on social media platforms
- Find new content and engagement opportunities by staying in tune with the always-evolving industry
- Attend and photograph 1-3 client events per week
- Research and discovery of influencer/partnership opportunities for clients
- Working with outside vendors and freelancers on an array of projects
- Compiling and delivering reports during client-facing monthly/weekly meetings to review results of the past month’s deliverables and all components of campaigns
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of related professional experience, with an emphasis on social media strategy, digital marketing, and community engagement
- Impressive online writing and visual skills
- Master of organization, strong Multitasking skills
- Extremely detail-oriented and truly understands the nuances between the individual social platforms and what works best for engagement/growth
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency with Google tools, specifically Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides
- Proficiency in social media content creation and management tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Planoly, Later, Preview, Basecamp, and Hootsuite
- Diligent work ethic, an eye for art/design, and an insatiable desire to learn and excel
