We’re here to motivate everyone to enjoy Latin flavors and Latin cooking more often, and after years building a thriving community of customers online, we are now expanding rapidly in retail through key national and natural accounts.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated marketing leader to guide our brand's strategic initiatives, resulting in continued and exponential growth in retail, as well as online sales channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling brands in national retailers, coupled with a deep understanding of online sales and marketing techniques, including email, social content, and community building, with a habit of leveraging data and insights to make decisions and lead. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to expand brand presence and drive sales growth in both retail and online spaces.
- Develop and manage marketing budget, allocating resources for optimal returns and impact.
- Establish KPIs and tracking practices, driving data-driven decision-making and optimization across all marketing efforts and workstreams
Retail Marketing:
- Plan and execute promotions and in-store programs across retail and distributor partners.
- Plan and execute trade show, demo and sampling programs.
- Support sales team efforts with new and existing retail partners.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to support new products launches in retail.
Digital Channels & Initiatives:
- Lead digital marketing efforts including email campaigns, SMS, and advertising
- Develop and manage initiatives to optimize the brand's online presence and sales across key touchpoints, including Amazon, Loisa.com, Instacart, Google
- Identify and implement “digital-to-retail” platform and products to drive retail sales
Brand Building & Community Engagement:
- Develop brand-building strategies that foster community engagement and advocacy both online and within retail environments
- Manage content creation and social media initiatives, partnering with social media team, to drive brand loyalty and customer retention
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing experience in the CPG or food industry, with a track record of scaling omnichannel, most notably through national retail
- Proven expertise developing and executing successful retail-specific marketing strategies that resulted in visible sales growth.
- Proven expertise in online sales and marketing, including email campaigns, social media, content publishing, and community building, and demonstrated understanding of how digital efforts can drive retail sales.
- Experience managing social influencer and/or creator partnerships.
- Values openness and collaboration, as well as individual ownership and accountability
- Understanding of and passion for Latin food & culture.
- Bilingual / fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
