Take Me With You is a travel and design-forward concept shop opening a new location at the Ace Hotel in downtown Brooklyn. TMWY is a multi-faceted brand serving a creative clientele that includes retail, artist collaborations and installations, travel and corporate gift sets, online sales, events, activations and pop-ups. It was founded by an art curator to fill a gap in the retail space for creative, artist-made objects and collaborations.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, mindful, responsible and creative sales associate who would like to grow with the business.

Responsibilities

Sales & Events

Work on-site 3-5 days per week/ weekend - around 35 hours (shop is open 10-7, and there are 2 shifts per day.) Engage and educate customers, upsell, create and nurture relationships. Must be knowledgeable about products, makers, the ethos of the shop. Friendly and positive. Our pieces have beautiful stories behind them - we liken our retail experience to a gallery.
Style / merchandise the shop as pieces move and sell
Help lead and attend events

Design & Admin

Assist in graphic design and social media projects. Using our brand guide book and some templates, you will be creating social content, comms content and assets, and updating website inventory
Project Management
Assist in data / client capture and management

Hourly wage based on experience. Quarterly assessments with huge opportunity for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

Friendly, responsible, eager to learn and be part of a growing brand, looking for a great opportunity to be at the start of a new business, wear a few different hats, get your hands dirty - also eager to have fun!
Sales experience a plus, but not necessary
Marketing experience a plus, but not necessary
Great communication skills
Must have some design and organization skills and tools - comfortable with design software, social media, and admin software - docs, spreadsheets, layouts, etc
