Position Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Entry-Level Art Handler to join our team. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual with an appreciation for art and a commitment to quality. You will work with our experienced exhibitions team and gain valuable knowledge in art handling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely pack and unpack artworks to ensure protection during transit

• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation and packing

• Assist with the storage of artworks in various settings

• Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards for each job

• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the workspace

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Art, Art History, or a related field), current students are encouraged to apply

• Experience with basic tools and materials, including measuring and cutting

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Physical ability to lift and move artworks safely (40lbs)

• Please note this position is in person in Tribeca on a flexible schedule
